Designed for automatic or manual air release this WATTS automatic vent for hot water is suitable for use on baseboards, convectors, radiators, and high points in most piping systems. The model uses moisture-retaining discs which vary in volume when they change from a wet to a dry condition. When dry, the discs allow air to escape from the system; when wet they provide a positive shut-off. Design allows easy replacement cartridge installation without system shut down.
