The Bobrick B-58616.99 Grab Bar is a two-bar unit that is intended for use in corner showers and tubs and to provide grab bars in two-wall bathroom compartments. The grab bar unit is designed to be extra durable and can support up to 900 pounds of weight when installed with 1-1/2 inches of clearance from the wall. Ideal for ensuring compliance with ADA and other barrier-free accessibility guidelines, the unit measures 24 inches in width by 36 inches in depth. Stainless steel tubing that is 18 gauge and 1-1/4 inches in diameter is used in the design. The peened grip satin finish of the grab bar makes it easier to hold onto, which can be beneficial for those with limited mobility or dexterity.
